Great White Shark image by: nucleotidingsofjoy
I saw several signs in the Monterey Bay Aquarium refering to the "White Shark". Most were warnings that it was sensitive to camera flashes and everyone should make sure their flash was turned off before taking a picture. Numerous people were completely ignoring this, of course, so an aquarium staff member got on the public address system and reminded everyone about it. She pointed out the white shark in the tank, and it finally dawned on me that the "white shark" was a juvenile Great White! Cool! Very hard to keep in captivity, and the first one I’ve ever seen in person.
